My objection was to this comment from jlallen:

"Sanctions" is NOT equal to "Saddam's misuse of oil revenues". His later posts as "proof" were deaths due to sanctions, i.e. lack of medication, etc, and had nothing to do with Saddam's misuse of oil revenues.

That is true. Still, I believe we share in the guilt. I cannot understand the rationale behind banning the sale of antibiotics. It is not like they can make a WMD out of antibiotics....
