I have gotten a speeding ticket, and do not think of it as an arrest. There is not, in fact, ample material on all of this. There are rumors and a couple of disreputable sources. There is no reason he would have assumed that entering the Guard would have kept him out of Vietnam. A number of Army Guard units were mobilized during the Vietnam conflict, and during the Korean War, the Air Guard was highly mobilized and ran many mission over Korea. We discussed the other matter already. Suffice it to say that the article by George magazine exonerating Bush was pretty convincing to me........
