Shorts covered quickly along with longs buying in simultaneously it was a stampede add timber to fire after it was announced Bush was going on TV tonight.

Market perceived at that moment we could possibly be bombing Iraq by the time Bush hit the airwaves.

Later in day press picked up 48-72 hour Sadaam ultimatum and by that time market had already gathered momentum to keep Bears at bay.
