My problem is I don't see any sound cause for shorts to cover that quickly or longs to go long that quickly. The Iraq excuse is really a reach in my opinion. The problem with the world's economies is debt. Even a fifteen minute IRAQ war will create significant additional government debt.

I fail to see the economic stimulous that justifies a 270 point DOW move in 60 minutes.

Are sudden short moves like this the type of stock market strength we need to get the markets moving again? Or are they designed to get the small investors in so that the large investors can get out.

I hope the last three days strength is real but I fear it is not.
