Yep, I had not actually thought of it in that light but I agree completely. I don't know how well that will play but it is certainly an argument that will have resonance. With more than the predictable quarters.

Kerry is toying with being the Peace Alternative, but hasn't committed to it.


We went through a "Kerry for Prez" boomlet here a while back, JS. I remember, (and no, I will not search out the URL's) that he was photographed in his "Anti-War" Vietnam days, throwing his medals over the White House Fence. He then was photographed wearing them. Said he had thrown someone else's medals over the fence.

But, as I keep telling John, times are too perilous to risk having a Democrat as President. Why don't you hold that thought and bring it up again in oh, say, six years. :>)
