Where was your attention span when Gw said the way to fight terrorism is to establish democracy in the middle east. As for the war on terrorism, no surprise there.......that's all Bush thinks about. He probably plays war games on his gameboy in an effort to have an ongoing outlet for his enthusiasm for the war. Do you have a point here, or is this just more wasted broadband space? Actually, what is your point? Are we having a discussion or are you trying to indict me because I can't agree with you that everything is grand? We were talking about Bush's attention span when it comes to building a democracy and then you turn around and say he has a great attention span when it comes to the war on terrorism? So what? There's no comparison and no surprise there........that's the easy stuff. Building a democracy from scratch or rebuilding a nation that has been running the wrong way from years is very tough work......virtually impossible work. So you think I am stupid enough to believe a yahoo from TX when he tells me he's wants to rebuild Iraq into a vibrant, flourishing democracy when he barely pays attention to a floundering Afghanistan; one that was pretty much decimated after we got done bombing it. This is a guy who was drunk thru most of his years up to 40, a president of DEKE, a fraternity whose craziness and drunked orgies are infamous on innumerable campuses, and a cheerleader........and from that mess you think comes greatness. You are out of the your frigged minds if you think I am buying into that shit. But you really don't care about that or anything substantive here except trying to put me down because I won't buy into your party line. You just want to make sure the GOP agenda gets implemented......which from where I am sitting is just a lot of deconstructionistic gov't that interferes with individual rights and will ultimately lead to anarchy. There are strong reasons why this president is so hated......why the world is mostly revolted by him. Its to bad you are so blinded by your idolization of the man and the right's agenda to see truly what sits in DC. Bottom line........you are not going to convince me that I am wrong. Unfortunately, its very clear now that we put into office a very disappointing president. In two short years, long term alliances have been badly damaged; the UN calculatingly undermined, a major defensive treaty/organization has been badly fractured; much of the world questions are credibility and most disturbedly, the people within this nation grow more divided with each passing day. How by any measure can this be a good thing for our country? What is so astounding to me is how did this economically vibrant nation of 260 million people put into office a president as inept as this one. But what does it matter.......my distrust of this administration continues to grow with each new fiasco and charade. So, excuse me, if I have trouble being serious in the linguistic games that substitute for communication on this thread. ted
