IF the war goes as the hawks expect, in your opinion will there be major political ramifications for Chretien?

No, Chretiens position is fully in step with the sentiments of the population at large regarding the US-Iraq situation. However, I think Chretien is increasingly in disfavour on other dometic issues. His term is up in Feb/04. Many would like to see him leave now.
