Call me an optimist, but I will be buying the retest. <g>

I just dumped most of my gold holdings.

Charts looking pretty weak. Take the loss and fight another day.

jimsioi,

RE: "HUI's inability to hold 120 suggests the next move is a retest of 116-5, minimum..."

In my experience trying to determine the bottom of these corrections in the precious metals and shares is probably the most difficult aspect of investing in this sector. From what I am seeing I would say we have bottomed or are very close, but we'll see.

It has certainly been a significant correction, with gold off almost $50 from the high and silver down around 50 cents.
