He's a combat veteran and supports troops.

Will you please point to the proof Daschle is a combat veteran. It is my understanding he was a cook in in the Army in Calif during "Nam. Neither he or the traitor McDermott(Bonoir's buddy in Iraq) were in 'Nam although McDermott claimed to be but then said he was misunderstood after he made that claim.

<<He's a combat veteran and supports troops.>>

That is now recognized for what it is: The most irrelevant non-qualification for public office.

The midget was a COWARD in the service-trust me. A yellow turd. Like Al Gore...

Daschle's okay. He's a combat veteran

just another uAs Democrat lie?

He was in the Air Force as a lieutenant. HAd he EVER been a "combat" veteran as you say, it would be on his bio. You can bet on that.

Please refer me to a site that proves the Stub was a 'combat' veteran? His own biography states only he was'an intelligence officer' with no mention of 'combat experience and one can be quite sure if he had served in 'combat' he would let the world know.

Have you not heard the replays of Daschle's words when Clinton decided to bomb Iraq? Anyone would believe the words came from George Bush last week, if not told otherwise. A bombing of Iraq that he said to be quite righteous and necessary under Clinton, now indicates failed diplomacy when ordered by Bush at this more advanced stage in Iraq's evolution toward evil. Having delineated no distinctions, the clear implication is that either Clinton's bombing of Iraq was a shamful failure of diplomacy too, or Daschle is hypocritical to suggest such now of Bush.

Playing such politicized games at this time is anathema to supporting our troops(at face value, Daschle's words indicate to them that they are performing an unnecessary function with inherent unnecessary risks, both the fault of their commander-in-chief).

He's a double talking politicized robot without personal honesty.

Unworthy.
