I have only lived in the US.

Without rubbing this in too much, would you then agree that your claim Jews have a higher level of interest in "things intellectual" compared to "most peoples in most countries", as below, is just prejudice, since you really cannot know what level of interest other peoples in other countries have in any subject, including those intellectual?

>>>Contrast this with the generally low interest in things intellectual among most peoples in most countries.<<<

I believe the US is a good example. I wonder if you have witnessed "reality TV"?

No it is not a good example of "other peoples in other countries". And Yes, I have.

I do not wish to be "inflammatory", so I will just ask you to find out about differences between Americans and, say, Western Europeans in this regard. If you are comparing the Jewish community to the rest of America and say "We are more scholarly", you may very well be right. However, in order to comment on "other peoples in other countries", you have to have an idea about these other places and Americans' standing in this set.

I attributed to the Commission of Inquiry a desire to condemn Sharon because he should have known that "all Arabs are bloodthirsty thugs".

I understood that the first time you wrote it. It is, of course, a twisted perspective on a three-day massacre and the Israeli army who knowingly watched as it happened. "Should have known" is far from "Knew it and did zip about it".

There are testimonies in the Commission's report saying who knew what. I don't know why you keep coming back to "should have".

Certainly, I don't believe that Arab women and childen are "bloodthirsty thugs."

But the men are?
