People are so different in so many ways........I guess it is our heritage, schooling, locations, friends, reading, hearing, etc......The things I feel are the right things to do, so many feel they are the wrong things to do. ????? Strange to me, Strange to them! Like they say it takes all kinds. BTW I am with you I don't understand the opposition's viewpoints and I guess they just as surely do not understand mine. Thanks for stating your opinion......at least it started a conversation and got "abstract" to come out of the woodwork. :-) dealie

I have stated frequently that I have no problem with folks who dissent, even vehement dissent. The thing I just do not have any tolerance for is those folks who insist on hiding behind the lame disguise of dissent or differing opinion to relentlessly spread lies, blatant distortions, spurious allegations & left wing propaganda. That shows me that they obviously have another agenda, which is purely a political one. Considering we have been in a global war on terrorism since 9/11........ we are now at war with Iraq (which is also part of the war on terrorism, ET AL)....... and how this has dramatically changed how we MUST deal with those who would harm us....... those who would harbor, support, supply &/or finance terrorist activities....... those who absolutely refuse to give up their illegal WMD & WMD programs despite more than a decade of diplomacy & sanctions........ and yet some folks still feel the need to dissent?? Although I cannot comprehend why, I still support their right to respectfully do so. However, when everything some folks post (or demonstrate publicly) 24/7 is so out of the realm of reality........ obvious left wing propaganda, fantasy land conspiracy theories, blatant lies, blatant distortions & intentional deceit....... that includes slanderous, unsupportable allegations about the President & his Administration....... and don't forget the name calling & untoward labeling of this Administration....... stockman_scott being a perfect example....... then I have no problems exposing their BS for precisely what it is. What he & his peers are doing has absolutely nothing to do with dissent. It is more about hate & an inflexible, albeit extreme political POV than anything. There is no other logical explanation IMO. And anyone who tries to defend this type of irrational, unpatriotic & inexcusable behavior is only deluding themselves too IMVCO.
