The entire world has recognized Arafat with a Nobel Prize, ...the question is how legitimate is the prize. Seems pretty illegitimate to me.

Carter wasn't awarded the "Peace" prize as much as he was used to award Bush the "Anti-Peace" Prize. Any American with an ounce of integrity would have thrown it back in their smug, morally superior faces:

At a news conference, Nobel Committee Chairman Gunnar Berge said that, in addition to honoring Carter, the 2002 prize ''should be interpreted as a criticism of the line that the current (U.S.) administration has taken.''
