Message 18677444 The second half of the post is my Alternative. I reject the concept of "preventive war", which is just another name for a war of aggression. I reject the idea that we have any obligation to provide the Iraqis with a functioning government. This concept is just the White Man's Burden, dressed up. We had alternatives to war, and didn't take them. We are losing the War On Terrorism, because we are losing the HeartsAndMinds battle in the Moslem world, and ShockAndAwe in Iraq just means that public opposition to our war, goes from 98% to 99%, among the populations of crucial allies.
