I agree with you that mankind is self-determining. I believe in prophecy not because I believe God is determining the direction and outcome, but He is simply reporting the eventual outcome. Just because someone knows what is going to happen does not mean they caused it.

Where I disagree with you is the interpretation of what and who God is. I believe there is enough historical and life changing evidence to prove (at least to me) that Jesus Christ did exist, was put to death, and did rise from the dead. Because of that, I choose then to believe exactly what the Bible reports as the only way to get into an everlasting Heaven after this life is over. If I'm wrong, I treated my fellow man better because of it anyway. If you're wrong, you spend an eternity where you did not want to.

I remain,

SOROS

p.s. As far a Saddam is concerned, I find it very hard to believe that the USA could not have him "taken out" without going to war. I know the Israelis could do it if so motivated. It is more than ignorant to make an argument that "we don't assassinate" because it is wrong, but we will go to war "because it is moral." This simply tells me there is much more to the story.

Massive Demo in London today. I stopped and chatted with some of those protesting and most of them by far were there for a day out and didn't know (or care) jack shit about Iraq.

By the way, the last name of the guy who organised the London thing is Altikriti.

Saddam Hussein's name is "Saddam Hussein Al Tikriti"

Al Tikriti means "from Tikrit"

Tikrit is the home town of Saddam's extended family.

How can people be so gullible.

By the way, I spent the last two nights in the house of an Iraqi friend in London. His parents and two sisters and brother, who live in Baghdad, are staying with him.

There were some tears yesterday as they lsot contact with their family in Iraq and have not been able to get any news of their wellbeing.

Despite their worries, they are overjoyed at the invasion. It is a dream come true for Iraqis that have not been part of the murdering Saddam Regime.

They are not very impressed by the Naive demonstrators that support the French govt and their like in their bid to prolong their Iraqi blood for money scam they have had going for some years.
