<Massive Demo in London today. I stopped and chatted with some of those protesting and most of them by far were there for a day out and didn't know (or care) jack shit about Iraq.> (yeh, but they have good hearts)
Steve i don't think you know jack snit about this yourself.
Your ability to grasp complexity i see as quite low.
And yes, i am now firmly adversarial to your position and quite possibly to you.
i view people unable to see the implications of these events to just be plain shallow. Max

am i being intolerant and rude? Yes.
But when i form a deep conviction on a matter i feel to be of monumental importance i simply draw hardlines---i would be a heller in the House of Commons, i hate the civility of our Senate and its' let us now get 100% in line and applaud and support this now that it has begun---hypocrites to the bone, lacking conviction is an essential part of being a Senator in the United States; but it wasn't like that all our history, once upon a time our Senate was a wild and vigorous place, now it is just place where we elect our favorite nerd(with a few exceptions, such as John McCain, even though he too has fallen into simplifications to justify this war). Steve

One of the better posts I have read all week and I've read many.

I pray each night that the Iraqi people remain safe and will be set free to establish a government with equality for all their people. Let them live to see a better day and a bright future for their children. They deserve that much.

I trust this is Bush's goal.
