Re: Regarding the arrangement between Halliburton and Cheney, I do not believe Cheney gets deferred income from Halliburton.

That is partially incorrect. Cheney is getting well over one million dollars per annum for the next several years as part of a deferred pension compensation scheme that was arranged upon Cheney's departure from HAL. This is in contravention of existing Federal law w/r/t Federal employees. The law intended for executives to sever all ties with their corporations upon securing Federal employment due to obvious conflic-of-interest issues.

Cheney continues to receive this compensation in defiance of Federal law.
