Hey Gordon, do more folks go to see a factually-based nature documentary, or Lord of the Rings? Fiction, particularly beyond-the-pale-fantasy, will always draw a far larger audience than telling folks the truth.

Rush, Hannity?? What do you mean. No one can sell a liberal talk show. I believe most every liberal position is completely analyzed on those shows. No one can sell a slow hosted by anyone with comprehension deficit disorder.

So long as 29% of Republicans get their "news" solely from right-wing talks there will be a market for them. But I find such shows repeitive, boring, predictable and just a bunch of preaching to the right-wing choir and slapping each other on the back while singling out left-wingers to demonize, as well as moderate war heros. But anyone who questions Bush is villified. That makes such shows nothing more than right-wing propaganda. Not entertaining and suspect brain-washing mechanisms.

29% of Republican voters by the way are about 14,000,000 people. That's great ratings if you can keep them loyal. I dont think liberals are intereted in left-only shows or being lefty dittoheads. But there should be more high-quality non-partisan shows out there. That is my concern.
