Liberals get a large part of the votes from a base that is not interested in something as logical as talk radio. They are more interested in the emotional Jerry Springer and Oprah type shows. So since the largest majority of talk radio listeners are conservative and logical, that is what we have on the radio airwaves. And it is spilling over the cable news due to Fox. Now MSNBC is trying to follow in Fox News Channel's footsteps. For years liberals controlled the media...and they actually still do. But because the media moguls like money more than anything, they are allowing more conservative shows to gain airtime.

I predict a 20 year run on conservative control in Washington beginning with 2001. Bush will be reelected as President and the Republicans will gain Senate and House seats.

Everyone knows the right-wing controls the media now. You're talking about 20-30 years ago. Dan Rather is an old man of minimal importance these days. I haven't watched his show in ten years.

Quit being in denial. Just turn on your radio or cable TV news and do a survey. Forget about CBS News, they haven't been dominant since the early 80's. And even if they were important, what's one Dan Rather up against the dozens of right-wing talkshow and cable TV hosts?

I know the right never admits anything, always deny and deflect, but this is an obvious one.
