It is the opinion, if you pay any attention to the polls, that is held by 95% of people in Muslim nations, and 60-80% of the rest of the world, including Europe and Japan and S. Korea. Even the Mexicans and Canadians don't think my viewpoint is absurd.

So, unless you think the U.S. can win the war on terrorism without any foreign support other than Israel, it's a viewpoint you need to engage, and not dismiss. You may think it's absurd, but you are in a small minority in the Global Village. You have no choice, really, but to deal with the viewpoint that sees U.S. foreign policy as thinly veiled Imperialism which violates the basic principles in the U.S. Declaration Of Independence.

The alternative is total American isolation, because there is not a majority in favor of your viewpoint, in any of the world's 200 nations, other than in the U.S. and Israel.
