Michael Moore has a talent for satire, though his satire depends on an exaggeration which renders much of it fictitious. (Making his comments last night a bit ironic IMO).

I thought his movie about Flint, MI (a place I have been many times) was hilarious. I'm drawing a blank on what that movie was called, but it was his first one, I think. The one where he chased the CEO of GM around with a microphone.

I also think that his connection with reality is tenuous. But he is quite fortunate he lives in this country, where he is free to say what he pleases where he pleases, and we are free to boo or cheer.

Hi Losty,
It did take cojones to do what he did. Why anyone would have been surprised
1) that he felt so strongly about the Iraq invasion when he's made it clear how he feels and

2) that he'd use his 45 seconds to speak about it, which is entirely within his confrontational style

is silly. Which is par for the course for folks who think only they're allowed to speak their minds publicly.
