Why do you think I asked the question? I don't know. It seems to me that this would not be the best time to bring the issue to the table.

For the last few days, I have been watching this exchange wondering what's the point. And behind this issue, I am concerned that another nation[s] will enter this war on Iraq's behalf, and one of the those nations might be Russia. That concern was reinforced by the comments made by a retired general on the news last nite. He suggested we need to get in and get Saddam out fast; the faster we do it, the less likely we will have more than one opponent.

When I heard that, I realized that that was an active concern of others.....clearly not Joe but certainly others. And if that's the case, then why actively worsen relations between Russia and the US right now, and give them the excuse to start trouble with us?
