Very funny. But GZ is mistaking a peace activist with a pacifist. I should tell you that I've been in martial arts since I was 12. At the same time, I should tell you that the smarter I have gotten, the less I have gotten myself in situations that have forced me to punch someone out to save my skin...besides, punching out the Afghans in Peshawar was not a good option for me in the 80s. Nor is it a good option for us now...the problem with having too much military power is that it makes one dumb; it just becomes too easy to use brute force for everything.

After thoroughly bloodying him, you notice the newspaper photographer, taking pictures, and you realise this isn't going to look good, when your mother sees your picture in the paper tomorrow. Since there is a little bit of angel inside every devil, you eventually start feeling shame and disgust at yourself. Alternatively: 7. the person you are assaulting is not a pacifist, he just thinks that this particular war, carried out this way, at this cost, is not the best choice. So he gets up, and beats the shit out of you. And feels very good about it, having followed his moral principles of Strict Reciprocity.
