DUBAI, March 26 (Reuters) - Kuwaiti and U.S. firefighters could snuff out all oil fires in Iraq's vast South Rumaila field within a week after dust storms choked three blazing wellheads, a Kuwait official said on Wednesday.
Only three oil wells are now alight
in the giant field responsible for nearly half of Iraq's overall production, said Kuwait Petroleum Co (KOC) spokesman Sheikh Talal Khaled al Sabah.

"It will now take three to seven days to put them out," he told Reuters, cutting back on the estimated timetable for the operation, which U.S. and Kuwaiti officials earlier said would take up to one month.

Aside from the FACT that we know this is a financially TERRIBLE company, what, sir, are you trying to tell us ?
(that we don't already know ?)

I look at all the insider sales from last year, THAT'S a comforting piece of knowledge (sic).

Tells me they are indeed going to file bankruptcy and declare all outstanding stock WORTHLESS.
.10 a share, 1.00 a share, is better than zero a share, when you probably got them for free as stock options, the SEC should have a heyday with this one......
