zonder, The fact is that you and your little pod of left wingers want to blame the US for all that is wrong.

If the real issue between Iraq and Kuwait had to do with slant drilling, the subsequent military action and associated atrocities was completely uncalled for. If saddam believed that the US would do nothing because of a one liner from a diplomat, that was foolish. It is plausible that he might have been better off making his point by blowing up an oil field on the Kuwait side of the Iraqi border and not taking over the country.
