you vastly overestimate our value of civilian enemy lives
vastly hugely monumentally
if we valued, then we would not send cruise missiles from 600 miles away with a required tolerance of 20-30 yards
or drop bombs from bombbays in B-52's or F-117 jets from high altitude
no way

you are seriously in error
we TALK about care to minimize civilian casualties, injuries, and deaths
but if we meant it, we would not drop bombs from 35,000 feet or 600 miles away

PURE HYPOCRISY
the difference between this Gulf War II and World War II is that over Dresden and Liepzig, we made no deceitful and disingenuous public statements

reminds me of govt politicians saying they want to minimize the effect on household budgets when they raise taxes and reduce deductions

who the hell are you kidding?
try this...
observe a schoolyard full of children
throw a hard rock at a bully standing among them
try to hit the bully without hurting the innocent kids
then hold a press conference stating your intention to preserve human life, respect the health of little boys & girls, yadayadayada
and try to keep a straight face

NO, GIVEN OUR INSISTENCE TO CONDUCT A PUSHBUTTON WAR, AND OUR ABSOLUTE COMMITMENT TO KEEP OUR SOLDIERS AT MINIMIZED RISK, WE WILL SOFTEN THE ENEMY... AND RISK CIVILIAN DEATHS EN MASSE, BUT WITH A PLAN TO MINIMIZE THOSE CERTAIN DEATHS AMONG THE INNOCENT... THEIR SAFETY COMES A DISTANT SECOND TO OUR SOLDIERS

USDollar looking very vulnerable here
daily stochastix just crossed from a high point
relative strenk is coming down from a (not too) high level
both 50dayMA and 200dayMA are still descending
but US$ is now above the 50MA in blue
some hefty sized gaps from the last several days
