Ted Re.... don't think Ritter is right that we will lose the war, at least I hope not........but its clear the Iraqis do not see us as the Great White Hope. Some are claiming that the Iraqis are afraid to revolt because we failed them before but I think its more complicated than that.

If anyone has committed atrocities here, it appears to be the Iraqis. Using civilians as shields, hospitals, locating military positions in populated areas, likely will doom any attempt by Saddam to call the US the bad guys. It is too early to draw conclusions just yet.


No one said the Iraqi position is reality based..........they see us as the big, bad invaders.
