Powell's statement is quite moving. However, from the looks of it on the ground in Iraq, it doesn't look like anyone wants to be rescued. This is perplexing. I would have thought that the people in at least Allies controlled areas would be rejoicing. No such pictures on TV yet. Maybe these idiots don't get it - maybe they want to be liberated only by democracy loving muslims. Hmmm... let me see - I think there are only a handful of those out there - maybe none outside Iqbal's family?
