You are partially correct. Much of what is called Islam today is a cult not a religion. There are many adherents of the Islam religion however. Almost all the atrocities we have witnessed in the name of Islam in recent times have been committed by cultists. It's like christians being taught eye for an eye and ignoring the new testament. When schools have no textbooks aside from the koran and the students are taught hate it is a cult. I read recently that only about 500 books a year are translated into arabic.
