Supplying lines will be cut from behind. Advanced forces armor will grind to a halt without fuel. They carry rations and water for two days. After two days they will need to be re-supplyed.

Without fuel, food or water they will be pounded by the Iraqis, being re-supplied by air.

Remember that the Apache helicopters have been withdrawn and you hear nothing about them anymore.

Hi pezz,

Seems like a very strange tactic on Sadam's part.

Not if he were positioning his troops to use some type of chemical or biological weaponry. After all, Saddam wouldn't want to use any of that stuff in his backyard. No telling where the winds might carry it...
