milosevic was on his way down when the bombing started. blowing up the bridges (and schools and hospitals and...) only strengthened his hand and allowed him to hold on longer than he otherwise would have.

the serbian army itself was relatively untouched by the bombing in kosovo, it pulled back all but intact.

T, The real problem is that our scientists are bass ackwards. They invented the neutron bomb, which kills people but leaves buildings intact. They should have a bomb that disappears all buildings and keeps the naked, shivering humans alive. <g>
