LOL, Christians live by the words and life example of the name of the person that describes them. The nearer writings are to the present, the more true and reflective they are of what guides any rational interpretation. And the Koran is the spoken word of God to believers. As the Christian bible old to new testament was progressive in advocating tolerance, The koran viewed in it's time line is a regression from Christian like tolerance to the intolerance of any who are not believers. The intolerance you cite as possibility in the old testament is in the Koran that which is the later writings of the Koran. It is direct, kill infidels. The timeline on tolerance is reverse and the words are direct. Christian vs Koraniacs. It's quite simple.
