Strange how the US loves to promote democracy all over the world but when it finds itself in a democratic institution, like the UN, it resents being told what to do by the other members. Clearly, the US believes in and practices elitism and self-determination so why does it keep pushing democracy down everyone else's throat --- including, dare I mention it, the Iraqis?

Perhaps, one day, the US will come up with an consistent policy of, "I practice what I preach", and not one of, "Do as I say, not as I do".
