It strikes me as strange, and yet it doesn't, that prior to the invasion there was a rising and falling terrorist alert on CNN, and now there is none. I would expect that there would be a greater fear of terrorist attacks after the beginning of the invasion.

Unfortunately.

Perhaps it is this American self-delusion, associated with the hubris that goes with it, which accounts for the inconsistencies in dealing with others.

Anyway, I'm not a psychologist nor do I intend to be.
