I didn't say he said that. Many from the administration stated (e.g. Cheney) "couple of weeks" would be the duration. That's was the admistration's position, so it must've been his.

I agree most Americans are disappointed we didn't get him on that first strike.

As time goes on it seems likely we did. Either he is dead or in his condo in Paris with his buddy Jacques Strap.
