As far as I am concerned, whether bin Laden exists or he doesn't, 911 was a pretext for the US to make war in the Mid East against anyone it chooses. It was, in fact, the start of the New American Empire and in the circumstances, since it was so convenient and opportune to their stated ambitions and since there were so many suspicious circumstances surrounding the event, I believe that certain high echelons of the US administration, possibly aided by the Israeli Mossad, were involved.
