If you can't see that death is still here then this is pointless. Death is the last enemy that will be defeated. What you're saying is that we are already in heaven/paradise/eternity. When is God going to wipe away my tears shed for them? Brian, this is not the real deal. Boy are you in for a pleasant surprise.

People complain that they did not "see" the resurrection. They saw all that God intended them to see - in fact Josephus ( the historian ) claims that they did see angels in the sky when Christ returned and destroyed "his enemies" the unbelieving Jews. He returned and destroyed "his enemies" ""the unbelieving Jews"". The unbelieving Jews were not His enemies Brian. He came for the lost sheep of Israel His enemies are the "works of the adversary". His enemies are sin, death, all forms of ungodliness. Not men. He did after all, say about those men you call "enemies", "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do". Jesus said satan WAS BOUND - yet he continued to deal with both him and his demons reference scripture please. The victory over death is not about the physical body.. Physical death is an enemy. All forms of death are enemies. 1st, 2nd, physical, spiritual. All of these forms of death are enemies. But ALL ENEMIES</b will be defeated. They are not defeated yet.
