If two parties are good enough for USA, why has nobody else adopted the same weird thing from the 1700s, and it wasn't even considered functional then?? Btw, most major USA leaders and just generally informed individuals have said why, but regular americans are not supposed to understand, including some 100% of this and most other SI-threads. So do not fear, you are clearly in the overwhelming domestic majority, although globally in a very small, backwards minority.
