"Rummy is the finest Sec Def in the History of this country" If he's so great, why didn't he take the advice of the top Generals who told him to wait for a northern front & go in heavy? Maybe it's because he's so arrogant that he thought he was smarter than them(despite his total lack of combat experience)? Numerous articles have shown that he thought warfare had changed toward lighter mobile forces. He has been butting heads with the military establishment & has not respected the views of "traditional" Generals. If you believe Rumsfeld can do no wrong, then there isn't much point in countering. We should have gone in with overwhelming force & we should have waited to develop a northern front. It was poor judgment due to Hubris.
