It's a good thing that forward thinking people like Warren Buffett are ignoring Cheney's 50's coal mentality, and are investing big bucks in clean energy.

DES MOINES, Iowa, March 26 — A power company controlled by billionaire investor Warren Buffett said Tuesday it plans to build the largest land-based wind farm in the world across 200 acres of Iowa farm fields. The $323 million, 310-megawatt project, to be built by MidAmerican Energy Co., would have 180 to 200 turbines with the capacity to generate electricity for 85,000 homes on completion, which is expected in 2006.

This is just the start of non-Cheney, non-Rush Limbaugh, non-wrong wing approved, clean electrical production. There is no reason that these kind of wind farms can't be duplicated all over the country, making us energy independent. Imagine what could happen once the Cheney/Bush administration gets out of the way of good sustainable progress in REAL energy solutions.
