What is this nonsense about Corporations retaliating against Canada for a supposed dereliction of friendship? I hadn't heard about this, but I agree with you. I think they had best keep in mind who our friends are when things really come to a crunch- -and Canada is one of them. I rank you in with the UK in terms of good allies. Which corporations? I also disappove of the US timber tariff, BTW. I think the US should give Canada a better deal when it can. We fought the Second World War for 2 years before our "friend" came to help on a point strictly of self interest re" "Pearl Harbour". I'm aware of the facts you cite. And that the US did not enter WW1 until 1917. Message 18770903 I think part of the "problem" Canada has is a French-Canadian prime minister. Correct? We will join the Iraq war in 2008!
