I, more than ever, think the Bush war plan was ill conceived and poorly timed. I don't doubt that we should be trying to get Saddam out of power but as a priority in the overall war on terrorism and national security, I think this was premature and diplomatically a botched job. Bush has created a scenario where it will be very difficult to win the overall war even if our troops win the battle of taking over Iraq militarily.

Bottom line: Protest songs about Vietnam were warranted, protest songs about Iraq are naive.

What you said above is probably the same rationale used by the people who supported the Vietnamese War. Forty+ years have passed and you've traded positions with those people. Unfortunately, in those forty years, you have changed enough so that you are blind to the possibility that you may be wrong.....just like the Vietnam hawks were wrong before you.
