Did you think the conservative media has special cameras that made dead bodies look like a celebration.

The difference is in the presentation. Just as your thinking has been shaped by the media to lead you to assume the missle in the market was a US one, others are duped as well. FOX is reasonably careful to make it clear that there is no determination that the destruction was caused by an American munition.

You are not protecting our future if the rest of the world sees this as a slaughtering of Saddam and his people.

Well, I'm not so sure. The escalation of anti-Americanism began with Carter's allowing Iran to walk on the United States.

But if you saw Friedman's special this week, I think he really gets to the bottom of it. It is about Jealosy; it is about dignity. And our taking out Saddam will, eventually, be seen as us bringing dignity back to an Arab nation.

Once again, don't believe everything you see on CNN:

"Britain said on Saturday the commander of air defence forces in Iraq had been replaced after Iraqi surface-to-air missiles, aimed at Western warplanes, missed and fell back on the city."
