The arguments for ethical behavior is not a "feel good be nice and moral" kind of argument. Using game theory you can actually show that ethical behavior is the best code of conduct for human prosperity. So my point is that self interest will compel us to change our policy, just as this same dynamic forced smaller tribes to form city states and city states to form nations. Unfortunately some people just need to be burnt before they accept this concept. ST
