<<WEll, most of this board is pretty irrelevant to real life as far as this topic goes...certainly your posts on this topic fit that bill as well. I mean really.... I don't think Rumsfeld is listening in? Maybe we should get back to investing, no?>>

First congratulations for a numbers of recent postings and the message you trying to send to those who "KNOWS".

I would love to go back to investing but I fear this word will soon become extinct as the stocks are priced based on temporary emotions not earnings and economic datas. Defense sector became aggressor sector which is not defending but mass killing of the people whose only sin is they were born in the "wrong" country and brainwashed different way than we in the western hemisphere. Other sectors stinks as there is more evidence they have been orchestrated according to politics. I'll stick to mother of all investments as my feelings are telling me that the world will become soon an ugly place to live in and temporary state of minds will become permanent.

You are telling me, the muslim world and most other cultures on the planet we are wrong:

If their government is not accountable to their people, then it is a case of the many being ruled by the few. Any foreign policy interaction we have with those nations is really interaction with the power elite, unaccountable except to themselves and their narrow power base...

So since the people in the muslim world, for the most part, are not part of a democratic society, do not have access to independent news, and whose very lives have been tailored to support this narrow minority elite, their opinions represent the general opinion of the elite. Or, at least, they do not contradict it out of fear of punitive measures.

There is something wrong with the Muslim world.. What's wrong is they are being dragged back into the dark ages through fear by those who despise modern technology and/or secular government.

It's not inherently a problem with Islam, but with how it is being militantly "evangelized" through force and intimidation. So force is being used to provide them the opportunity to choose another path.
