As you frequently do, you get further away from the point. This whole thread had nothing to do with me being in the loop, it had to do with President Bush being in the loop and your admiration for Rumsfeld keeping Bush out of the loop.

I suspect that there are not many people who could actually handle being 'in the loop'.

Just as we are learning the limits of our understanding of the the culture and geography and history of Iraq, almost everyone on FADG has a cartoonish understanding of how the military actually works.

I see that some of our deployed units in Iraq are now on cut rations. But Rumsfeld keeps saying that we are "On schedule".

Now is someone not in the loop, or is this P... P... Contingency Planning? Or is someone just bs-ing the public as usual?
