Health authorities look pretty stressed here in Toronto. We've become a hot spot relatively. Two hospitals isolated. My wife will be in a screening queue to get into work at Sick Kids hospital as they let staff in one by one ....

Hi Elmat, my buddy at a premier VC firm is leaving town within the week until the whole thing blows over. My client has left town this AM without notice and so I guess my trip with him to Shanghai next week is cancelled. My sister-in-law's violin student's family has also ran for the overseas.

I just got a new 3M mask that has a little nose piece protruding with activated carbon filter. Since there are no instructions printed on the world-facing side, I used a magic marker to draw on it a happy face, now looking like this :0)

Chugs, Jay

Hi elmat - Looking at item 1) -

1) A company full of costly expats with contracts expiring, say, December 31st, 2003, finds a way to get rid of them without breaching their contracts by claiming Force Majeure and use this virus scare to quarantine a few, after the HR dept. bombs them regulalry with precautions and advices.

How long have you been a senior manager ? You would do well in Silicon Valley...
