Of course it could be an accident. It seemed suspect to me on first listen. None of the speculation mitigates the tragedy. But we are attacked on this point anyway.
If this happened at home, the cop would be suspended and there would be a full inquiry. Part of the inquiry would try to determine the motivation of the folks in the van. This is still not been addressed. If it is a tragic mistake, without other circumstances we should issue an apology. Mike

That was you addressing me. I guess "speculation" is ok, and stating the simple facts, which is all I ever did, isn't. Whatever. War propaganda has its own logic. I don't much hold with it from either side, though.
