They are sort of at opposite ends of the Iraq "solution" to start with (one political, one military). Not sure they need to suck up to each others plans. Suffice to say Rumsfeld was quite while Powell worked his plan, and now Powell is quite while Rumsfeld works his.

Actually, you're right -- I will discount naysaying no matter where it comes from because it is just that -- naysaying.

It is just really hard to argue with the facts -- and the facts are self evident; the war, at least up until this point, has proceeded with amazing success. It could crap out tomorrow, but as of today, I can't see anything that provides a factual basis for criticism.
