Lindy, in democracies, it's not the driver who owns the car. The passengers are the ones who decide how it's driven and where it goes. When they don't like the driving skills or planned destination, of course they whine.

If you want silent compliance with sheep not allowed to so much as baaa, you should go and live in Iraq. There, the driver doesn't suffer back-seat sounds and if there are any, does a spot of halalujah killing.
