Buy and install Windows 2000. It is used by major corporations because it is a robust system. Haven;'t experience a single crash on the last 7 months. All othe OS's are home user level and will always crash and fucks up.

Every now and then, do a clean up on your system bu running Norton Utilities to detect probelms and clean them up. It has a feature called WinDoctor that scans you disk and finds problems and repair them before they become real troubles.

This is beased on my last 7 months of being using Widnows 2000 and running WinDoctor on occasion.

Warning: Windows 2000 takes some 8 / 9 minutes to boot.
